Maderfilm has landed across the pond with both Displacement and our short film Passing Darkness streaming on Amazon Prime!
Displacement stars the UK’s very own Sarah Douglas (Ursa from the original Superman movies, and most recently Mrs. Averill in A Christmas Prince), along with The Bold and the Beautiful’s Courtney Hope, Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe Winner Bruce Davison, Golden Globe Winner Susan Blakely, and Christopher Backus (Bosch).

Passing Darkness is about a skilled martial artist who must protect her young daughter from dark forces that threaten not just their lives, but her sanity… and learn a shocking truth on her way to redemption.
This film was instrumental in director Kenneth Mader’s journey toward making Displacement and set the bar in terms of production value. Check out the new trailer:
This weekend members of Team Displacement headed down to San Diego Comic Con to promote the movie. Decked out in limited edition Displacement t-shirts, our team members handed out information to the crowd and gave free tshirts away to all who donated on the spot. It was a great time! It’s no secret that the entire cast and crew was excited to see and meet the great Sarah Douglas on set a few weeks ago. So many of us are fans of hers, dating back to the epic and amazing Superman movies. None of us were nearly as excited as our director Ken, “It was truly an amazing experience. Ursa from Superman is in my movie!” During our downtime, this picture was captured of Sarah and Ken.
When asked about it Ken adds, “I was, and am still, so thankful that Sarah took time to join us on this adventure.” Thank you Sarah!!

We are excited to announce the addition of Christopher Backus (Elevator, 3 Days Gone) to the cast of Displacement. In this mind-bending paranormal thriller by award-winning Writer-Director Kenneth Mader (Passing Darkness), a young physics student must find a way to reverse a deadly quantum time anomaly and solve the murder of her fiancée while battling short-term memory loss and time slips caused by the event.
Backus joins Courtney Hope (Mob Rules, Prowl) and Sarah Douglas (Superman: The Movie, Superman II). Principal photography is sent to begin mid-February 2013.
